METHODOLOGY
This is a real comparison, but not a perfect commercial equivalent.
Brazil and US prices differ by location, quality, tax, freight, delivery terms, and reporting frequency. The chart normalizes units into USD per metric ton so the relationship is visible, while preserving source names and dates.
Conversion
US soybean $/bushel is multiplied by 36.7437 to estimate USD per metric ton. Brazil is already published as USD per ton by CLAL/TESEO and also displayed as approximate BRL per 60 kg bag when available.
